Have you “checked out” Libby yet?
Below is a guide for signing up for a free Libby account with your WPPL library card.
Libby, much like Hoopla, is a great resource for online reading – the catalog features eBooks, Audiobooks, Magazines, & Comics, so there’s something for everyone!
Libby is a bit different from Hoopla, in a couple of ways:
- Libby works just like the library – certain titles may not be immediately available, and you’ll have to place a hold on them (On Hoopla, everything is always available)
- You may check out up to 20 titles at a time on Libby – no monthly limit (Hoopla has a limit of 10 checkouts per month)
- WPPL is a member of the Ohio Digital Library, who curates Libby’s catalog (Hoopla is one giant catalog, not curated differently across libraries)

With your WPPL card, you can checkout up to 20 titles at a time.
Libby is available as a mobile app (available on the Apple Store & Google Play Store) and as a website for your convenience.
