It’s time for little owl to go to bed but he is having the hardest time settling down.  Luckily, mommy owl has lots of ideas to help quiet his restless mind.  Read Little Owl’s Bedtime by Debi Gliori and then make a couple of night owl finger puppets and learn a little rhyme to go with them!

Two Little Owls
Finger puppet action rhyme

Two little owls going off to bed [hold up both owl puppets]
One named Tonya [hold up the first owl]
And one named Ted [hold up the second owl]
Off to bed Tonya [put first owl behind your back]
Off to bed Ted [put second owl behind your back]
Wake up Tonya [bring first owl back]
Wake up Ted! [bring second owl back]
