Welcome back to the Kinder Club blog! Each week we will focus on a letter of the alphabet and share fun stories, activities and tips to help you get ready to make the big leap into Kindergarten.
This week’s letter is Nn!
N is for net, nose and number!

Can you trace the letter in the picture above with your finger? Can you write the letter on a piece of paper? Try writing the letter in uppercase and lowercase. Remember uppercase is BIG and lowercase is small.
Click the video below to count along with Mrs. K. as she shares a fun counting book with you. Can you find the NUMBER NINE in our story? See if you can name the bugs and animals helping us count throughout the story.
Mrs. K. went on a letter hunt looking for things that start with the letter N. What did she find? See if you can find NINE things? Where did you look for your items? How many of your items were real? How many of your items were pictures?
If you picked up a Letter of the Week packet from the library, have fun completing this week’s activities and stay tuned for next week’s letter.
Kindergarten Readiness Tip: N is for new things! Trying new things is how we learn. We don’t always get it right the first time we try something new so we have to practice, practice, practice. It’s okay to make mistakes when trying new things. Mistakes help us problem solve, focus on the process and build resilience. Spend time this week trying something new.
