The Free Little Art Gallery (FLAG) was officially installed in the library’s lobby in April 2023. Since opening in 2023, the FLAG has featured homemade bookmarks, cards, ceramics, jewelry and much much more!
Looking for some inspiration on what to create for the FLAG? The library has “sew” many resources including books, instructional videos, and a fun line-up of summer programs.

If you make art for the FLAG anytime between June 1 – August 1, it counts towards an activity badge for the Summer Library Challenge. Make sure you go back to Beanstack or talk to a staff member to mark your activity!
