I know that my co-worker Jamie and I are definitely missing the start of baseball and all that comes with the baseball season.  Of course there is the game itself, but there is also the food, the sunshine (hopefully) and being with other baseball fans.  If all goes as planned, the Cleveland Indians will begin the season on July 24, 2020 at 7:10 pm against the Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field.

While you won’t be able to attend the games, here are some links that you may want to check out to satisfy your thirst for the Great American Pastime!  Batter up!

Now it’s time for the 7th Inning Stretch

Now for a simple craft.

Supplies:

2 small or large paper plates

1 pencil (for tracing)

1 red marker (for making baseball laces)

Directions:

Using the pencil, trace the edge of one paper plate about a 1/3 over the other plate. Do the same on the opposite side.

Use the marker to trace over the pencil marks and create the baseball “lacing.” (See photo for example) Your finished baseball can be used as an ornament, photo frame or card.
