How To Start a Vegetable Garden

While trips out of the home are limited, it’s the perfect time to start growing produce right at home! But where to begin?

Our green-thumbed staff have identified resources for growing vegetable gardens right here in Westlake, from preparing soil to purchasing plants or seeds.

Our favorite source for reading up on what you need to get started is The Old Farmer’s Almanac. It goes over the basics from selecting a site, choosing which plants to grow, and planning daily maintenance:
